How high above the window do you put a curtain pole?
According to Architectural Digest, curtains need to be hung between four and six inches above the window frame. The window will look taller when the curtain rod is hung high.
How far should Curtain Pole be either side of window?
For a typical window without architraves, we recommend poles/tracks overhang the width of the window by at least 15 cm. Don’t forget to mark the pole or track. The pole should be cut to the required width.
Where should curtain poles be placed?
